1. To have a safe, comfortable environment for our families and friends to hunt every time we go to the woods.
2. We want to keep the landowners, from whom we lease, happy with us as a Club, in order to ensure we can continue to lease the property each year. That is why we cannot tolerate outlaws.
3. We want to build up our game population on the land we have leased to maximum carrying capacity and then try to maintain it through these means:
Feeding programs throughout the year
Good common sense management
Careful harvest of the game each year
4. We would like to continue to gradually improve our hunting camp facilities a little more each year.
5. We want to increase the number of permanent stand sites on our club property, both shooting houses and ladder stands.
6. We want to grow as the opportunities arise by leasing more lands and thus taking in more members.
7. Over all we just want to have a club where it is enjoyable to come, safe to hunt, clean enough to bring our wives and children if we like, and have hunting buddies we can hunt with and get along with year after year.
8. Several of our members already plan to stick together through good and bad with a common goal of making Hillcrest the best place around to hunt. We hope you will make that your goal as well.
